Sounds of Reading -  Word Warm Up Cards 

20 cards per level aligned to Main Fiction books x 3 copies of each

It’s important for students to be set up for success. For some students it can be quite daunting to go straight to book level. Decodable Readers Australia have created a set of Word Warm Up cards (matching each levelled book) to allow students to practise blending and reading at word level. These can be used for independent practise, guided practise, buddy reading and choral reading.
